Meet Captain Ben — USCG Master Captain and your "Experience Director" on the water.

For Ben, boating isn't a job, it's a lifelong passion. He grew up spending summers in Door County, Wisconsin, and first took the helm of his grandfather's boat in Sturgeon Bay as a young kid. Decades later, he's owned and operated his own vessels and now shares Lake Michigan with his wife and two young sons, passing along the same traditions.

Ben believes the best memories are made on the water, and there's no better place to start than Navy Pier Marina. Every charter he runs is built around one goal: a safe, relaxed, unforgettable day for your group. Dogs are always welcome — they're family too.

Ben holds a USCG Master Captain's license, is CPR certified, and is a TWIC card holder.

  • Giant lily pad — Our floating mat fits up to 11 adults. It's the most-requested feature on the boat.

  • Galley — Sink and counter space for prepping snacks or mixing drinks.

  • Cabin berth — A quiet spot to lie down if anyone needs a breather.
